With the outbreak of COVID-19, and its impact on our country and communities, we remain focused on the safety and well-being of our members and staff. We are committed to supporting you, being here to provide individualized financial advice and assisting you with your day-to-day banking.

We are in unchartered waters and I would like to thank you for your continued support. During this pandemic, we at Equity Credit Union appreciate your understanding that it is necessary for some of our staff to work from home to ensure social distancing at our location and that we must hold a virtual Annual General Meeting on June 23rd.

Although regions in the province have been given the green light to move into the next stage of COVID-19 recovery plan on Friday, please note that there are no changes to Equity Credit Union’s reduced hours at this time. We will send a notice when our reduced hours change, but, in the meantime, be reassured we are here to support you.

We continue to ask members to be cautious during these times about fraud. As a reminder, Equity never sends unsolicited emails, pop-ups, calls or asks for confidential information such as passwords, PIN, Access Code, or credit card or account numbers.

Our Response to COVID-19

With the recent announcement by the World Health Organization confirming that COVID-19 is a pandemic, we understand that the health and safety is top of mind lately and that some members may have concerns about public interaction. Equity Credit Union appreciates these concerns and as a result will implement safeguards that protect both our members and staff.

We wish to remind you that you can continue to do business with Equity Credit Union without having to actually go into our branch. In order to protect the health and safety of our members, staff and local communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be operating with reduced hours.

Effective March 19th, 2020 – branch hours will be as follows until further notice.

Monday – 9:00AM – 3:00PM
Tuesday – 9:00AM – 3:00 PM
Wednesday – 9:00AM – 3:00PM
Thursday – 9:00AM – 3:00PM
Friday – 9:00AM – 3:00PM
Saturday – CLOSED
Sunday - CLOSED
