Equity Credit Union will recognize and respect National Day of Truth and Reconciliation

Respecting the Government of Canada’s recent legislation to make September 30th a new federal statutory holiday, called the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, Equity Credit Union will close our branch on that day. As a credit union that respects the rights and histories of all people, Equity supports a day where we acknowledge the tragic history and lasting effects of the Canadian Residential Schools on indigenous survivors and their communities.

Equity encourages our members and staff to take time in their own personal way to reflect on the ways we can all take action to commemorate the first National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.

Equity Credit Union will reopen for service on Friday, October 1, 2021.
