I know many of you, being an Equity Credit Union member for 37 years and a Director for the past 12 years. In my non-Equity “day job”, I hold a B.Math from the University of Waterloo, and worked for Unilever for 20 years and for Metrolinx for the past 12 years. At Unilever, I held a number of positions in I.T., Internal Audit and Finance, including Business Systems Manager, Internal Audit Manager and Finance Director. At Metrolinx, I have worked in the Presto division, initially doing project management and governance oversight of vendors while the card and system were being developed and rolled out, and now in the Presto Finance Team as a Senior Financial Analyst.
I bring a broad business background with particular emphasis on Finance, Audit, Governance and Information Technology. I was first elected as a Director in 2009 and in my 12 years as Director since I have served a term as Chair, sat on every committee at some point, and had the opportunity to chair most committees.
I ask for your vote for re-election to the Board for another term to continue to represent your interests and to help Equity continue to deliver strong growth and provide exceptional service to its members.
