My name is Franciszek Chomicz, I do have two sons and wife. I immigrated to Canada in 1988. I am a Canadian Citizen.
I am holding M.Sc. Mechanical Engineer from Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland. I did study at Seneca Collage and post graduate study at University of Toronto.
My professional experience:
I started work in 1989 with Lever Brothers (Unilever) holding various engineering position until plant closure. Then, I worked as an engineer within different industry like Chemicals in Europe, Oil and Gas in Alberta. I do have more than 30 years of working experience in cross-functional environments in Toronto and Europe.
Currently, I am working with Tradition Fine Foods Ltd (food Industry) at 663 Warden Av. in Toronto, as a mechanical engineer.
Why I am running for the Board?
I am member of Equity Credit Union since 1989. I know this bank very well. Different location, name, but always it is “my bank” with personal touch if you consider service. It is like Family.
I believe in such a Bank and this type of banking system. For me, Equity Credit Union it is like an undiscovered raw diamond within banking industry. I will bring different prospective to the Team, different idea for consideration.
I believe and I do have all necessary experience, enthusiasm, energy and together we can make Equity Credit Union even better.
